The Silver Dollar City Theme Park

Let’s start this list with the most popular attraction of the city – the Silver Dollar City Theme Park. This amusement park takes you back in time with its 1880s early American theme. It features more than 30 rides and tens of attractions for the young and young at heart. It also features live entertainment and shows (they have specific shows lined-up for different seasons and times of the year). There are also lots of craftsmen showing their skills and selling their work at souvenir shops.


Inside this amusement park are lots of attractions, which are designed to showcase the long history and rich culture of the city. Visitors can choose from thrilling roller coaster rides, river adventure rides, and train rides.


Inspiration Tower

The Inspiration Tower is a famous historic landmark in this city. It sits on top of the Inspiration Point at the Shepherd of the Hills Homestead. Called “landmark on the horizon”, the tower is made up of 4,400 square feet of glass and stands over 230 feet tall. Guests can ride a glass elevator up to the spacious enclosed observation deck where they can see more than 90 miles over Branson city (on a clear day), quite a phenomenal panoramic. This attraction is open year-round.


On the ground level, there’s a snack bar, gift shop, and souvenir shop that sells postcards and wonderful souvenir items of the tower. During holidays, they transform this tower into a giant Christmas tree.


Branson Balloon

This hot air balloon ride is the largest tethered balloon all over the United States. The ride can carry up to 30 passengers all the way up to an altitude of 500 feet. If you love heights, then this is the ride for you, as it features a 360-degree view of the city, its scenic lakes, and the beautiful Ozark Mountains. This 15-minute ride is offered year-round (on good-weather days).


Hollywood Wax Museum

Are you a fan of realistic statues? Then you know that nothing can be as realistic as wax figures. Located at the Center Strip in Branson, the Hollywood Wax Museum features dozens of wax figures, including the most popular personalities like Elvis, Lucille Ball, and Will Smith. You can roam around the Hollywood studio-themed setting, take pictures with your favorite TV and movie stars and learn more about the famous TV sets with the guided tour. The museum is available year-round.
